I agree that the penalty was dubious on replay, but hey, Grosso didn't protest much when he fell. Like you said, the ref 'gave' the penalty, Italy just obliged by scoring.
The Italians were in total control of the game till the sending off. Don't you agree?
I think Italians, like Argentinians, act alot. Just a tip and they fall dramatically, exaggerating the pain.
And I don't think Italians are in total control of the game. Their defence is good. But I think Australia and Italians have similar possession of the game.
I don't think they are that fantastic. Like England, they are over-rated and over-hyped. Bleah.
Tactically, u could see that the Aussies were naive. Had the bulk of the possession in the 2nd half, yet can't kill off the Italians. If u can't score, u can't win. The onus was then on the Italians to finish the job, which they did of coz!
Italia came into this tournament unfancied, unlike previous ones. It's England and Brazil who are hogging the headlines, Miss Jellybeano. ;)
